Your first 5 minutes

1. Sign in

Click Sign In in the side panel header. Use your Google account or create an email/password account.

2. Open a project

Click the ⚡ App tab → Projects. Select an existing project or create a new one.

A project is your workspace — it groups survey data, map layers, design networks, and solar analyses.

3. Explore the map

The map is the center of everything:

  • Layers panel (🗺 tab) — toggle your data layers on/off
  • Click any feature — see its attributes in a popup
  • Zoom freely — vector tiles load on demand

4. Load survey data

In the Layers panel, expand Survey. Click the table icon on any form to open the attribute table — entries appear on the map and in a spreadsheet below.

The side panel can be pinned (pushes map aside) or left floating. Close it for a full-screen map.

Key concepts

Projects

A project groups all related data: forms, entries, design layers, tiles, and solar analyses. Switch between projects from the Projects page.

Forms & Form Factory

Forms define what data gets collected in the field. Create them in the Form Factory — a visual builder for fields, validation rules, and display settings.

Layers

Layer type Source Description
Survey Form submissions GeoJSON features loaded on demand from the attribute table
Design GridDesign tool LV/MV network elements (poles, lines, transformers)
Tiles Pipeline Pre-rendered vector tiles for large datasets
B-Layers Reference Background layers (e.g., Google Open Buildings)
Basemaps Satellite/Street Base map imagery underneath everything

Working Area

A spatial filter that limits which entries load. Set one to focus on a specific region — essential for large projects with thousands of entries.

Works offline

  • The app itself is saved on your device for instant loading
  • Survey data stored locally — keep working without internet
  • Your changes are saved and uploaded automatically when you’re back online
  • Map tiles and photos available offline after first view
